We went up to 'the city' on Tuesday night to dinner and the theater. Mike was there, in San Francisco, for work and met us, Erik, Julia, Sue, Dick and me, for dinner at
Scala's Bistro. Then we walked down (through the Tenderloin
District -oops) to the
Orpheum Theater to see the musical Wicked. I loved the costumes - the unique designs, combinations of textures, and the colors. The story was clever and funny with good one-liners, hints and pieces of the two stories (Wizard of Oz and Wicked - the story of the witches). And I always love a happy ending.
