In July, we (4 moms) took our kids, about 13 in all, to San Francisco by train and bus. It was an adventure getting there – we walked from our house to the train station, rode the train for about an hour and caught a bus to get to the Rainforest Cafe and the piers. The bus driver gave us a ride for free, he didn't want to wait all day while we tried to figure out how to pay for everyone. We had an early dinner in the entertaining and expensive (you know I have to mention that) Rainforest Cafe. Then we walked down to the wharfs to see the sea lions, the street performers and the shops. Well, we didn't really see the shops, we weren't that crazy to try and take the kids through them.
