thanksgiving

We, along with most Americans, enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with family. I had been looking forward to it all week and it was worth the anticipation and met my expectations, even the Midwest Horton family corn casserole dish turned out great. Jammie and Grandpa were remodeling their kitchen, so we hosted. The kids decorated. They made napkin rings and turkeys with gratitude feathers for the walls. The table settings were very nice. We used Grandma Agnes' china, crystal, and silver. It was fun to have an occasion to get it all out and made the meal feel special.

It was so nice to spend the holiday weekend at home, relaxing without traveling. We were able to play some of those games in the back of the closet that we never get to. We took all of the kids to the movies, something we had never done before as a family.
