This year we decided to stay home for Christmas and travel afterwards. Christmas Eve we had dinner with Erik and Julia's family and Kristine and Victor's family in their newly finished house. We had a simple meal reminicent of what the shephards might have eaten and a short Christmas Eve gathering. Back at home, the Sandman brought the traditional Christmas Eve pajamas. Christmas morning began around 6:45. We opened gifts, had a nice breakfast and attended church. In the evening, we headed back to Kristine and Victor's for Christmas dinner.
