In 2013, we added a few new pets at our house. Sadie purchased a rat, named Sachiko for a science experiment and to keep as her pet. She devised an experiment to see if rats find food by smell or sight. Andrew brought home a crayfish from his school classroom. This is our third crayfish. Emma’s (Big Claw) lived several months. Sadie’s lived one day. And Andrew’s seems to be pretty hearty, he has lived several months through infested waters and famine.
