After a mad afternoon of scrambling to find a babysitter and slow crazy traffic, Mike and I were able to take our walk in the park - The Ballpark. A friend gave Mike two Box Seat, VIP, Row 1 tickets to an Oakland A's game. It was pretty cool to right down on the field watching the players walk by. The 3rd base coach gave a ball to the little boy next to us. The game it self was uneventful - we only saw like 3 or 4 hits and 2 walks. The innings went very fast. The Angles won 2-0, scoring the only runs before we got there. But we sure enjoyed the experience. The (free) food - hot dogs, peanuts, cracker jacks, and ice cream

. Singing at the 7th inning stretch. Aaaand it was fireworks night! They let people out on the field to sit on the grass. We stayed in our comfy seats to watch the show. It was an All American evening.
