We had a surprise event with the
California cousins for Sadie's birthday in the afternoon. We went to a
synchronized swimming
exhibition. Some of the members from a Santa Clara team are going to the
Olympics in
Beijing (hence a chinese theme). This was an
Olympic send off for them. All of the age groups performed from 7 on up to the
Olympians. We saw the US Olympic team
perform their technical program that they are going to do at the
Olympics! We also saw singles (who knew!) and double
synchronized swimming performances. It was very interesting and fun to watch. Some of the cousins were ready to sign up.
