summer activities

We sprinkled a little of this and a little of that into our summer vacation. A few vacations, some relax and play at home time and a few classes and camps.

Elise participated in Honor Band for the month of July at our community music school.

Emma tried out fencing and loved it. Turns out for beginners, she has a pretty good advantage being left handed. Easier to maneuver the foil in for a touch as she advances and lunges.

Emma participated in a Peninsula Youth Theater camp performing The Fabulous Fable Factory. She projected her voice and did great in her parts of a mouse (the Lion and the Mouse), the farmer's daughter (The Farmer and the Donkeys) and an ant (from the Ant and the Grasshopper).

Elise attended a PYT camp earlier in the summer and performed in King Midas and the Golden Touch.

Sadie had a Kids Love Soccer camp along with a few other camps through the city parks and rec programs. Sadie and Emma went to a Lego Engineering camp. Emma and Elise also had a bowling class this summer. The highlight was they each got to keep their bowling balls with finger holes drilled especially for them.
