Our sweet kitty, Mojo, passed away in April. He was a 10 months old Exotic Shorthair. He had a blood parasite carried by fleas, which he picked up in January at the Spay and Neuter Clinic. He was severely anemic as his immune system attacked his red blood cells to kill the parasite. We had him on medication and he was getting better, but took a turn for the worse and before an adjustment in medication could take effect his body gave out. He was an affectionate, playful, curious kitty. Sadie misses his kisses. His favorite place to sleep was in Elise's bathroom sink. We could always find him in some unusual place. We don't miss him sneezing in our face in the middle of the night or his rebellious tendency to hop on the dining room table to see if the kids left their breakfast bowls. If they did, there would be messy consequences later since he was lactose intolerant.
