eclipse

Speaking of an eclipse, we were amazed by the 90% solar eclipse visible from our house at the end of May. We noticed strange lighting outside, but didn't put it all together at first.  After remembering about the eclipse, we quickly made a little pin hole viewer (hit tech equipment consisting of two pieces of paper, one with a pin hole). We were able to track the progress, watching the moon move across the sun's image.

The shadows on the house showed the same eclipse images. As the light filtered through the trees it created these little crescents showing the moon blocking the sun.
