Emma Rose turned 8 and was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The service went very well. We were a little stressed getting ready, but as usual things came together. I remembered everything but the towels to dry off with. Emma had been looking forward to this event for months and she was shining all day. We shared the service with another family who's little boy was also being baptized. His grandmother gave a nice talk on baptism. Aunt Kristine gave a good kid friendly talk on the Holy Ghost - how it can be your 'trail buddy' on this journey of life, with a backpack of visual aids. It was an important day for Emma. Thank you to those who helped it turn out wonderful.
