This fall has been filled with fun festivities.
Elise, Emma and I walked/ran our first 10k with our women from our church and friends at Shoreline. The girls did great!
Emma performed with her middle school jazz band and advanced band in their fall concert.
Monta Loma brought back it's Fall Festival. Emma and Andrew competed in a pie eating contest (gummy worm in whip cream). Sadie helped run one of the booths as a junior coach. They had a great turn out. It was a success. Andrew attended his walk-a-thon at Castro Elementary and most of us stopped by Emma's walk-a-thon a Crittenden too. Emma was busy working at a booth, walking laps and socializing.
Elise and a few of her friends attended the homecoming dance at the high school. It's always fun to get dressed up and go dancing with friends.
The calendar has been full with these events and more, such as martial arts, guitar lessons, flute lessons, horseback riding, soccer, and piano. We have to use a spreadsheet to keep the schedule straight.

Elise, you're turning into a great young woman, and pretty too! Glad I know you.

Emma, you must be getting really good playing the flute if you're in the advanced band. I hope I get to hear you play before long.
Love,
Grandma Mickie
